One of the most iconic and beloved images of the Royal BC Museum is Woolly the Woolly mammoth featured in the Natural History gallery. But Woolly was not the only kind of mammoth roaming the earth during the Ice Age, Columbian mammoths were here too.

Fieldtrippers are public walks in the Greater Victoria area led by researchers from the Royal BC Museum. These outings commemorate the first nature walks led by museum staff 125 years ago.
