What is your name? In order to fit into Canadian society, many Vietnamese immigrants adopted English names. This tradition still continues today, as second and third generation Vietnamese Canadians have at least two different first names. Que-Tran Hoang (Hoàng Quế Trân) recounts how she started school in BC with a brand new name.
