This Haida Box, carved by Bill Reid, is part of the Royal BC Museum's 100 Objects of Interest. For this small gold box, made in 1971, he used jewellers’ techniques to render Haida forms drawn from traditional carving and formline designs.

First Peoples Principles of Learning- in embedded into the BC New Curriculum.  

Teaching First Nation for primary grades for Social Studies.  Children can learn about the important history for First Peoples of a canoe.  

It is important to have authentic First Nations resources that are from First Peoples themselves.  First Nation people is about connecting to the land, and learning from elders, family and community.
