The Journey of a Fossil
This is a fossil of the dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides), a deciduous conifer tree that was once part of the forest habitat for dinosaurs in northern BC This fossil was discovered by curator of palaeontology Dr. Victoria Arbour and a team of palaeontologists when they were on an expedition to find out more about BC’s Mountain Dinosaur.
