Our Living Languages

There are more than 34 Indigenous languages spoken in British Columbia. Created in partnership with the First Peoples’ Cultural Council and their advisors from nations across the province, the Our Living Languages exhibit opened in 2014. This groundbreaking interactive exhibition celebrates the resilience and diversity of First Nations languages in BC in the face of change.  Learn more about what First Nations communities throughout the province are doing to help their languages survive and flourish here.
