Endangered Monarchs
The iconic Monarch is famous for its monumental migrations from Canada to Mexico and back. But did you know that it has been listed as a Species at Risk since 1997? And in 2016, the beloved monarch was re-assessed as endangered due to a decline of over 80 per cent of its population, caused by habitat loss, pesticide use and climate change.
