Emily Carr Born

Emily Carr is one of BC’s most famous and beloved artists and authors.  She was born on a winter’s night in Victoria “as the north wind howled and bit”.  The Royal BC Museum holds many of Emily Carr’s literary works, unpublished manuscripts, letters, journals, diaries, sketchbooks and photos, and more than 1100 of her works of art.
