In this playlist I’ll talk about the wonderful creatures of Stanley park which is located in Vancouver, I will also tell you where to find them, their diet, and some facts about them.


About stanley park

History: the land was originally used by indigenous people for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858. then later the land turned into Vancouver's first and biggest park in 1886. the park was named after lord Stanley. Now: The Vancouver seawall is popular for walking, running, cycling, skating, and even fishing. not only that Stanley park is a home for at least 500 different species.

great Blue herons

Great blue herons mostly eat small fish but they will also eat shellfish, insects, rodents, amphibians, reptiles, and even small birds, such as baby ducks. Bats

Up to 10 different species of bats can be found in the park. Yuma Myotis bat have been seen under a bark of tree in Stanley Park. they eat different types of insect such as beetle, true bugs, cockroaches, and other insects. golden crowned flying fox are the the largest bat in the world.
