Saskatoon Berry

Saskatoon (Amelanchior alnifolia) is a tall shrub that produces delicious berries. These are purplish and form in clusters at the tips of the branches. The plant is easily recognized by the white flowers with long narrow petals and by the oval leaves that are toothed along the margins.
