BC’s Bear

The Spirit Bear is BC’s provincial mammal. It is a Black Bear (Ursus americanus), that just happens to have white fur. Almost all Black Bears stay true to their name, but some rare bears wear a different colour of fur: brown, grey-blue, white or cinnamon.
