Smallmouth Bass

Smallmouth Bass (Micropterus dolomieu) are native to eastern Canada. Unfortunately, they have been released into lakes all over BC. Once in a new lake, Smallmouth Bass will eat whatever they can fit in their mouths. Smallmouths have eaten entire populations of native minnows and sculpins in some lakes. Learn more here.
