First Peoples Principles of Learning- in embedded into the BC New Curriculum.  

Teaching First Nation for primary grades for Social Studies.  Children can learn about the important history for First Peoples of a canoe.  

It is important to have authentic First Nations resources that are from First Peoples themselves.  First Nation people is about connecting to the land, and learning from elders, family and community.

Pflag was originally founded by parents who wished to help themselves and their family members understand and accept their non-heterosexual children. It also provides support for non-traditional families who face challenges being accepted in our society. In this video, Bryce talks about the love she has for her non traditional family.
