

Students in a Grade 2 class in Abbotsford wrote about themselves through I am From . . . poems. As teachers we planned for an increase in the amount of reading and writing these young poets would do during this project. We hoped that thinking, talking and writing about what really mattered to them in their lives would motivate and engage them.

Our group has created a radio play of what we thought a conversation would be during a match of Faro in a saloon/bar setting. The radio play is based off of the "Slim Jim" painting. The conversation is mostly had between the player, and what is thought to be a Reverend.
