Inspired by the works of late 19th-century photographers such as Hannah Maynard and Frederick Dally, the third round of Camp Gold Rush participants don "old-fashioned" costumes, and replicate the styles and mannerisms of gold rush photography, particularly the stoic facial expressions and rigid postures.
